Last Comeback opportunity for Indian cricketers before World Cup

The ICC World Cup 2019 is just a few months away.  The Indian team looks settled and geared up to defeated the cricketing world. . The brief information about the player’s auction for season 2019 is available on Today IPL Match. The team management has worked extremely hard to discover the right talent to establish a well-balanced side for the marquee event over the years. Fortunately, they are rewarded with an excellent pool of players.

The selectors will soon choose the most suitable 15 players amongst the pool to take a shot at the esteemed trophy. They are in consultation with Captain Virat Kohli and head coach Ravi Shastri. However, there are a few confident players who hope against hope to be selected despite not featuring regularly in the national side lately.

IPL gives a great opportunity to some star cricketers to showcase their skills once again, with IPL Schedule just before World Cup. Today IPL Match will publish the complete schedule after BCCI announce it is officially. They can prove themselves worthy of the boarding plane to England for ICC World Cup 2019. Moreover, the last-minute injuries to some star players may actually force the BCCI to look beyond the definite.

Yuvraj Singh is close to the end of his cricketing career at 37. Unfortunately, he was diagnosed with cancer right after being chosen as the Player of the Tournament at the ICC World Cup 2011. The glory days were badly hampered after his outstanding performance.

After this the world has not witnessed the same back on the field.  Although Yuvraj has been training hard for the IPL 2019 and will hope to make a mark for selection to the World Cup.  He is trying to end his cricketing journey on a high.

Another experienced cricketer Suresh Raina is out from the Men in Blue since 2015. Last year he joined the national team for the ODI series against England to strengthen the middle order. He didn’t performed well enough and the selectors eventually sidelined him for next tours of India.

Suresh Raina will certainly look to perform well at the IPL with both bat and ball to impress the selectors for the mega event.  With India’s middle order puzzle still not resolved, the issue gives an opportunity to Ajinkya Rahane. Rahane is known to play well on bouncy wickets, the selectors could choose him ahead of the others Considering the World Cup 2019 will be played in England.

The team India has replacements available considering Ashwin’s superior bowling expertise over Ravindra Jadeja and Krunal Pandya. He may just be pulled as a specialist third spinner in for the ICC World Cup 2019. Visit Today IPL Match for latest updates about Indian Premier League.
